Aphyosemion
Most adult Aphyosemion are about 1 1/4 to 2 inches in length. Males are usually tolerant of other males when raised together but best kept in pairs unless cover is available. Eggs take 2 to 4 weeks to hatch. A 2 to 5 galon tank is a good size for a single pair for breeding. Most are floating mop spawners although almost any Killie will use substrate occasionally.
